DevOps Engineer

Our client is a global travel & tourism organisation undergoing significant digital transformation, and they are looking for a DevOps Engineer to join their engineering team. This is a fully remote role based in Portugal.

This is a high-impact individual contributor role for someone who enjoys building and operating scalable, reliable, and secure cloud infrastructure. You will support the delivery of customer-facing digital products and help drive continuous improvement across the software development lifecycle.

Skills & Requirements:

• Strong experience in DevOps, cloud infrastructure, and automation (AWS preferred)
• Proven track record of building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with containerisation and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Infrastructure as Code expertise (Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar)
• Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, or similar)
• Experience with monitoring, logging, and observability tools
• Strong security mindset and experience implementing secure infrastructure
• Familiarity with Git workflows, release management, and production support
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Role & Responsibilities:

• Build and operate scalable cloud infrastructure and platform services
• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for multiple teams
• Support containerisation and orchestration for production workloads
• Implement Infrastructure as Code and automate deployments
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve reliability and performance
• Collaborate with engineering, security, and product teams to ensure operational excellence
• Contribute to architecture decisions and drive continuous improvement
