Role: Platform Engineering Specialist (SRE DevOps)

Experience Range: 6 – 10 Years

Location: Vizag

Must-Have:

• Strategic Leadership & Governance
• Define platform strategy, roadmap, and architecture aligned with business objectives.
• Establish governance, security, and compliance standards (SOX, GDPR, etc.).
• Platform Development & Automation
• Architect and implement cloud-based solutions (Azure and multi-cloud environments).
• Oversee development of CI/CD pipelines and automation frameworks.
• Drive Infrastructure-as-Code practices using tools like Terraform and Ansible.
• Operational Excellence
• Implement monitoring and observability systems for platform health and performance.
• Drive Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices to ensure high availability and resilience.
• Oversee system maintenance, patching, and performance optimization.
• Implement backup and disaster recovery strategies for critical systems.
• Team Leadership
• Mentor engineers and analysts;
  manage workload distribution and performance.
• Promote best practices in platform engineering and DevOps.
• Stakeholder Engagement & Innovation
• Collaborate with development, security, and operations teams to improve developer experience and reduce cognitive load.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and integrate best practices for platform modernization.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Technical Expertise:
• Cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and multi-cloud architecture.
• Containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, Ansible).
• Automation tools and scripting (Python, PowerShell, Bash).
• Monitoring and observability tools (SolarWinds, etc.).
• Strong knowledge of SRE principles, system reliability, and performance tuning.
• Experience with backup/recovery tools and disaster recovery planning.
• Certifications: ITIL Intermediate or higher preferred;
  Azure Solutions Architect or DevOps Expert desirable.
• Soft Skills: Strategic thinking, strong communication, stakeholder management, and leadership.
