DevOps Engineer (PRD0126)- Client Services

PRIORITY Quality Consultants on behalf of a valuable client is seeking a talented DevOps Engineer. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing their infrastructure and application deployment processes, ensuring the efficiency and reliability of their systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for application deployment in various environments.
• Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and monitor system performance and availability.
• Work closely with development teams to ensure smooth integration and delivery of software and system updates.
• Automate manual processes using scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or similar.
• Ensure security best practices are embedded within workflows and processes.
• Manage container orchestration technologies such as Kubernetes and Docker.
• Participate in on-call rotation to provide support for critical systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on best practices regarding deployment, infrastructure management, and process improvements.

Requirements

Qualifications/Skills:

• 2+ years of experience in a DevOps or systems engineering role.
• Solid understanding of cloud providers and services (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, etc.) and configuration management tools (Ansible, Terraform, Chef, Puppet).
• Proficiency in at least one scripting language (Python, Bash, etc.) for automation tasks.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) methodologies.
• Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments.
• Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack).
• Understanding of database management systems (SQL, NoSQL).
