Job Description

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a DevOps Engineer to support engineering platforms and microservices that power critical applications for modernizing data usage across multiple federal customers. This is a Hybrid role based in Annapolis Junction, MD, and requires an active TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud infrastructure, automation, and containerized environments.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop infrastructure and automate tasks using Python, Ansible, and Terraform.
  • Provision and manage services in AWS and other commercial cloud platforms.
  • Patch, harden, and maintain RHEL systems to ensure compliance.
  • Install, configure, and optimize Kubernetes, Docker, NiFi, and cloud metrics tools.
  • Manage CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment using GitLab.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
