DevOps Engineer

Join our growing team of software developers, QC/QA and DevOps engineers to address different
business challenges for a diverse portfolio of clients. As a DevOps engineer at elementˆn, you will
work with a highly experienced agile team on the latest emerging technologies.
The ideal candidate will have experience in the following skill sets:
  • Containers: Docker, Docker Compose, Swarm, Kubernetes
  • CI/CD: unit tests, Jenkins, Hudson, GitHub
  • Automation: Terraform, Grafana, RightScale
  • Cloud: AWS, Azure
    • Primary Responsibilities:
  • Build and set up new development tools and infrastructure.
  • Work on ways to automate and improve development and release processes.
  • Support dev teams.
  • Deploy, monitor and support application code on production clusters.
  • Ensure that systems are safe and secure against cybersecurity threats.
  • Prepare technical documentation.
  • Contribute to the improvement of internal processes and best practices.
    • Requirements:
  • Familiarity with multiple operating systems (Windows, Linux, MacOS).
  • Ability to apply DevOps best practices according to the team's needs.
  • Database administration and performance tuning.
  • Experience solving complex problems including performance related issues, utilizing operating system utilities, monitoring and profiling tools.
  • Knowledge in maintaining and improving CI/CD pipelines.
  • Good scripting skills.
  • Bachelor degree in computer science or equivalent.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Detail oriented with excellent analytical skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to work both independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
