As a DevOps Engineer, you’ll be the right hand of the Director of Software Development and have a highly visible position within the team. We are looking for someone with a driver mentality: someone who takes ownership, is proactive in their communication and execution, and pushes for results. The ideal fit will bring the same energy, commitment, and collaborative spirit.

This role is available in LATAM.

Time Zone Requirements – This team operates on the East/West Coast time zones.

How you’ll make an impact:

• Design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) using best practices.
• Build and enhance CI/CD pipelines using Cloud Build to support automated and reliable deployments.
• Deploy and manage applications using Cloud Run and GKE, ensuring high availability and scalability.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code with Terraform.
• Collaborate with development and QA teams to streamline release cycles and improve DevOps processes.
• Manage and optimize Cloud SQL, Firebase, IAM, and VPC networking for security and performance.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across infrastructure, security, and monitoring.
• Act as a key technical partner to the Director of Software Development, contributing to high-level architecture and strategy.
• Troubleshoot system issues, resolve bottlenecks, and ensure system reliability and performance.

What we’re looking for:

• 4+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer with a strong focus on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is a must.
• 5+ years in the IT industry.
• Deep knowledge of Cloud Run, GKE, Cloud Build, and related GCP services. (must)
• Hands‑on experience with Terraform and infrastructure automation. (must)
• Experience with Cloud SQL, Firebase, and IAM configuration and policies. (must)
• Strong scripting abilities (e.g., Bash, Python) to automate routine tasks. (must)
• Solid understanding of networking concepts, including VPCs, firewalls, and IDS.
• Familiarity with containerization using Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes.
• Manage and optimize Cloud SQL, Firebase, IAM, and VPC networking for security and performance.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across infrastructure, security, and monitoring.
• Excellent problem‑solving and debugging skills.
• Fluent in English with strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• A proactive, ownership‑driven attitude with the ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams.
• Knowledge about Google Cloud Security Command Center (desirable)
