Within this critical area, the "Customer Journey Solutions" team is central to shaping its future. We make a significant contribution to the target architecture by driving a common platform, fostering growth initiatives, and optimizing processes. Our key initiatives include the operation and development of the dbCORE low-code platform for process design, creating online product sales and self-service offerings for all channels, building a dedicated product sales and service shop for easy integration, and delivering PB-wide Ident & Sign solutions.
  • As a Senior Engineer in CI/CD, DevOps, and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining robust automation pipelines, cloud‑native deployments, and infrastructure solutions. Operating at the intersection of software engineering and operations, you will drive the adoption of modern DevOps practices, enhance environment reliability, and support engineering teams in delivering high‑quality, scalable applications.
  • The role requires hands‑on experience in CI/CD, cloud engineering, container orchestration, automation tooling, and infrastructure‑as‑code, with the ability to collaborate across development, QA, platform, and infrastructure teams. You will contribute to improving system reliability, operational excellence, deployment automation, and cloud efficiency.

    • Your key responsibilities

  • CI/CD Engineering & AutomationDesign, develop, and maintain advanced CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, GitLab, Ansible, and UrbanCode Deploy (UCD).Automate build, test, and deployment workflows to support rapid and reliable delivery of applications.Create scripts, utilities, and automation frameworks to streamline deployment, environment provisioning, and monitoring.
  • Cloud Engineering & Platform Deployment
  • Work with cloud platforms (GCP required; Azure/AWS optional) to build scalable, secure, and resilient systems.
  • Implement and support infrastructure‑as‑code solutions using Terraform.
  • Contribute to deployment architectures, including multi-platform and distributed systems.
  • Containerization & Orchestration
  • Implement and manage Docker-based solutions, including creating and maintaining Dockerfiles, Helm charts, and Kubernetes workload configurations.
  • Support microservices deployments, container clustering, and container lifecycle automation.
  • SRE ResponsibilitiesEnhance reliability, availability, and observability of services via SRE best practices.Support monitoring, logging, and alerting frameworks to ensure system health and early issue detection.Participate in root-cause analysis, performance optimization, and incident response handling.Improve stability and reliability of critical systems; ensure operational readiness of production environments.
  • Collaboration & Engineering ExcellenceWork with Developers, QA Engineers, SREs, and Platform teams to ensure seamless and efficient delivery processes.Collaborate using development ecosystem tools such as Bitbucket, Artifactory, Confluence, Jira.Apply strong understanding of SDLC models, Agile methodologies, and engineering best practices.Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team capability uplift.

    • Your skills and experience

  • Technical SkillsBachelor's or master’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.Strong programming/scripting proficiency in at least one: Java, NodeJS/TypeScript, Python, Shell scripting.Hands on experience with automation tools: GitHub Actions, GitLab, Ansible, UCD.Strong knowledge of containerization (Docker), orchestration (Kubernetes), and packaging (Helm).Experience with GCP (mandatory); experience with Azure/AWS beneficial.Hands on experience with Terraform-based IaC for cloud infrastructure management.Familiarity with application development, distributed systems, and multi-platform architectures.Understanding of SDLC processes, DevOps models, and cloud native engineering practices.
  • Soft SkillsStrong analytical and troubleshooting skills.Excellent communication and cross-team collaboration abilities.Proactive mindset with ownership and initiative in solving complex engineering problems.Ability to work independently in agile, fast paced environments.
