DevsecOps Engineer

NTT DATA is seeking a DevSecOps Engineer to join our team in Jalisco, GDL, MX, México.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate on the design, development, and testing of technical solutions.
• Utilize strong coding and scripting skills to re‑engineer, automate, and streamline business processes for clients.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot virtual servers and network issues.
• Ensure proper code documentation is completed.
• Participate in project kick‑off calls and solution delivery hand‑off meetings.
• Integrate security practices into DevOps pipelines to ensure secure software delivery from development to deployment.
• Automate security testing (SAST, DAST, SCA) within CI/CD workflows to identify vulnerabilities early.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with embedded security controls for consistent and secure environments.
• Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to align on secure coding, deployment, and monitoring practices.
• Monitor systems and applications for security threats using SIEM, log analysis, and anomaly detection tools.
• Manage secrets and credentials securely, using vaults and access control mechanisms.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards (NIST, ISO 27001, GDPR) across the software lifecycle.
• Respond to security incidents in cloud and on‑prem environments, supporting rapid remediation and recovery.
• Educate teams on DevSecOps principles, promoting a culture of shared responsibility for security.
• Stay current with emerging DevSecOps tools and practices, continuously improving automation and resilience.
• Act as a technical owner of multiple modules within the Cloud Solution system.
• Analyze and recommend solutions and technology to achieve clients’ needs.
• Recommend changes in procedures, providing clear and concise information on request.
• Lead the design and development of at least one module: Asset, Accelerator, Point Solution, or Differentiator, for owned Business Area.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Cybersecurity.
• 3+ years in DevOps or security engineering.
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and containerization.
• Knowledge of security frameworks and tools.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications (e.g., CISSP, CKA, AWS Security).
• Experience with SAST/DAST tools.
• Familiarity with zero‑trust architecture.
• Exposure to threat modeling and risk assessment.
