Job Description

DFM Engineer
Supports product development and manufacturing readiness for plastic and metal components. Ensures designs meet manufacturability, quality, cost, and customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities (Condensed)
Conduct DFM reviews for plastics and metals.
Review drawings, CAD models, and specifications.
Support tooling validation (molds, dies, fixtures).
Troubleshoot production issues and perform root‑cause analysis.
Support NPI launches, process validations, and PFMEA.
Lead quality investigations and support PPAP documentation.
Communicate with customers and cross-functional teams.
Drive cost reduction and process improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
Engineering degree (Mechanical).
3–7 years in plastics/metal manufacturing.
Strong DFM, GD&T, CAD, SPC, PFMEA, PPAP knowledge.
