Job Description

DFM Engineer

Supports product development and manufacturing readiness for plastic and metal components. Ensures designs meet manufacturability, quality, cost, and customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities (Condensed)

  • Conduct DFM reviews for plastics and metals.
  • Review drawings, CAD models, and specifications.
  • Support tooling validation (molds, dies, fixtures).
  • Troubleshoot production issues and perform root‑cause analysis.
  • Support NPI launches, process validations, and PFMEA.
  • Lead quality investigations and support PPAP documentation.
  • Communicate with customers and cross-functional teams.
  • Drive cost reduction and process improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications

  • Engineering degree (Mechanical).
  • 3–7 years in plastics/metal manufacturing.
  • Strong DFM, GD&T, CAD, SPC, PFMEA, PPAP knowledge.
