Job Title: DFT Practice Head
Location: Bangalore
Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic DFT (Design for Test) Practice Head to lead our DFT practice. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical expertise in DFT methodologies, along with proven leadership experience in building and managing a high-performing team. As the DFT Practice Head, you will be responsible for driving the growth and delivery excellence of our DFT services, ensuring the highest quality standards, and acting as a thought leader in the DFT domain.
Key Responsibilities:
- Practice Leadership: Define and implement the strategic direction for the DFT practice, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
- Business Development: Collaborate with the sales and business development teams to identify opportunities, develop proposals, and drive growth in the DFT domain.
- Service Delivery: Oversee the successful execution of DFT projects, ensuring high-quality delivery, customer satisfaction, and adherence to timelines and budgets.
- Technical Expertise: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the DFT team, ensuring best practices, innovation, and continuous improvement in DFT methodologies.
- Talent Management: Build, lead, and mentor a team of DFT engineers, fostering a culture of learning, growth, and excellence.
- Thought Leadership: Establish the company as a thought leader in the DFT space through white papers, webinars, and industry events.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including design, verification, physical design, and other practice heads, to drive integrated solutions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- 12+ years of experience in DFT, with at least 5 years in a leadership or managerial role.
- Strong expertise in DFT methodologies, including scan insertion, ATPG, JTAG, BIST, and fault simulation.
- Experience with industry-standard DFT tools such as Mentor Tessent, Synopsys DFTMAX, Cadence Modus, etc.
- Proven track record of leading and delivering large-scale DFT projects.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong business acumen and experience in P&L management.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Demonstrated thought leadership through publications, presentations, or industry contributions.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in working with global teams and clients.
- Familiarity with advanced DFT techniques for complex So Cs and multi-die designs.
- Knowledge of the latest trends in semiconductor testing and manufacturing.
