DHSES Program Manager

Duties Description The incumbent of this position will report to the Public Assistance Administration Unit within the Office of Disaster Recovery.

Duties include but are not limited to the following:

• Understand and be conversant in federal regulations, policy, and guidelines related to the various disaster assistance programs to include the Robert G. Stafford Act, 44 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR), FEMA policy and guidance, . Small Business Administration Disaster Assistance Program, Office of General Services procurement policies, Office of the State Comptroller policies, Division of the Budget policies and related information as appropriate.

• Provide management level oversight for federal disaster assistance grants to repair and replace infrastructure and implement 406 mitigation measures in future disasters.

• Develop and understand program policy and priorities in support of DHSES Disaster Recovery Program goals.
