Diagnostic Imaging Technician - Computer Topography

Currently recruiting an Diagnostic Imaging Technician - Computer Topography to provide care to active duty military members and their families at Joint Base Andrews, MD. The Diagnostic Imaging Technician - Computer Topography is a full-time position, 80 hours per two weeks, schedule can vary, on call is required. Full benefits, including 17 days paid vacation/sick leave and 11 paid Federal holidays.




DUTIES OF THE DIAGNOSTIC IMAGING TECHNICIAN - COMPUTER TOPOGRAPHY:

Performs administrative duties to include receiving patients and imaging requests, scheduling, and explaining methods of examination in person and over the telephone. Receives and interprets requests or instruction for CT scans. Assesses patient clinical history to determine the most effective protocols. Consults with referring physicians and technicians as necessary to obtain information regarding patient s examination. Utilizes hospital information systems.
