Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Die Maker Maintenance Technician for our Blown Films

division at Kabra Extrusiontechnik Ltd. The ideal candidate will be responsible

for the maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of dies used in the blown film

extrusion process, ensuring optimal performance and minimal downtime.

Key Responsibilities:

Qualifications & Experience

Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of dies,

mandrels, and extrusion components to ensure smooth production.

Inspect, clean, and calibrate die components to maintain high-quality film

production.

Identify and resolve mechanical and operational issues in blown film

extrusion dies.

Collaborate with the production team to ensure dies are in top working

condition and meet quality standards.

Maintain maintenance logs, service records, and inventory of spare parts.

Work closely with the engineering team to improve die performance and

longevity.

Follow safety protocols and standard operating procedures for die

maintenance and handling.

Education: Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering or relevant field.

Experience: Minimum 2+ years of experience in die maintenance for blown

film extrusion or related plastic processing industries.

Technical Skills: Knowledge of die assembly, disassembly, repair, and

polishing techniques. Experience with extrusion machinery, CNC, lathe, and

milling operations is a plus.

Problem-Solving: Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot issues related to

extrusion dies and related components.

Teamwork: Strong communication skills and ability to work in a production

team environment
