Job Tasks and Responsibilities

Reporting to the Maintenance Crew Supervisor, you will be a part of a dynamic and motivated team. The role will require you to develop a high degree of proficiency and working knowledge of Yarrabee’s plant and equipment; moreover you must be able to perform service and repairs with minimal supervision from the Crew Supervisor.

The successful applicant will have

  • Relevant Trade Qualification
  • Applicable Coal Competencies
  • Current Standard 11 Mine Induction (Surface)
  • Current Queensland Driver’s licence
  • Thorough understanding of individual responsibilities in relation to the Coal Mining Safety & Health Act and associated regulations
  • Advanced and proven mechanical knowledge on heavy equipment and fault finding
