About the role


The purpose of this role is to perform planned and reactive maintenance tasks safely and effectively within the site Mobile Maintenance department.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Routine maintenance, repairs, and servicing along with field work

  • Working on a range of mining equipment including Normet, Volvo, Sandvik loaders and Sandvik Development and Production drills

  • Reading and interpreting hydraulic and auto electrical schematics and understand associated software programs

  • Gaining technical knowledge to apply potential asset/maintenance improvements

  • Following correct procedures for costing of all items and contributing to maintaining within existing budget

  • Identifying risks/hazards and applying effective controls via use of PTRA’s, JSEA’s or formal Risk Assessments
