Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join a dynamic team in revamping and fully staffing a prominent Trucking Diesel Shop. This role focuses predominantly on maintaining and repairing Ford, Mack, and International trucks, with occasional work on other light to heavy equipment.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose malfunctions by reading job orders and observing and listening to trucks or equipment in operation.
• Install new ignition systems, align front wheels, and replace or recharge batteries and transmissions.
• Replace gas or diesel engines, and overhaul engines as necessary.
• Examine and adjust protective guards, loose bolts, and specified safety devices on trucks and equipment.
• Conduct routine lubrication and service of vehicles.
