Diesel Technician II

Schedule:

• Sunday night through Friday morning 9pm to 5:30am  Starting hourly rate: $28 We are looking for Diesel Technician Level 2  to join our team in Joliet.


• The Diesel Mechanic will strive to meet or exceed goal times for repairs.
• Able to work unsupervised for extended periods of time and assist in training technicians in lower job classifications.

Training & Experience:

•     Technician II employees should possess the following training and experience: • Minimum of four (4) years practical experience or an equivalent combination of related education and experience • Specialized training and/or experience in the overhaul of major components (i.e., Mack – Cummins - Detroit Diesel Engines, etc.) • Be proficient in the use of all tools of the trade (Welding equipment, power tools and shop machinery) Major Function:      Removal and reinstallation of...
