Penske's skilled team of 4,600 mechanics, 1,200 service assistants and 400 supervisors uses diagnostic and troubleshooting skills to keep our customers' heavy-duty tractors, trucks, and trailers in top condition and on the road. Whether you're fixing an electrical glitch in an ignition system or changing a tire, you play a key role in keeping our customers' businesses running. At Penske we focus on preventative maintenance, diagnostics, parts replacement, and accessories - we do not conduct engine teardowns or transmission rebuilds as most of our equipment is newer and those items are mostly covered under warranty by the OEMs.

Penske is the first and only truck leasing, rental and logistics provider to earn National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certification for its continuing education program for fleet mechanics. Typically, you'll receive at least 40 hours of state-of-the-art training each year on a variety of OEM equipment.
