We are hiring for Digital Ad sales
Location: Mumbai
Key Responsibilities
Revenue Leadership:
Spearhead aggressive monetization strategies for Republic Digital’s CTV and digital properties across India, with a focus on content-led advertising and social media integrations.
Client Strategy & Solutions:
Develop deep understanding of client business objectives across key sectors (FMCG, Defense, BFSI, Government) to deliver customized, high-impact sales solutions.
Sales Target Ownership:
Drive quarterly and annual revenue targets with a proven track record of achieving at least 90% of set goals in previous roles.
Platform Monetization:
Lead revenue generation across platforms like You Tube, Facebook, and emerging digital channels, with a strategic focus on high-consumption regional markets.
Innovative Sales Execution:
Conceptualize and execute branded IPs, integrated content campaigns, and national-level monetization strategies that align with Republic’s editorial voice.
Team Leadership & Collaboration:
Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing sales team. Collaborate cross-functionally with editorial, strategy, and product teams to ensure seamless execution.
Strategic Client Engagement:
Act as a trusted advisor to clients, leading pitches, closing key accounts, and delivering innovative campaign solutions.
Network Expansion:
Leverage and expand a robust advertiser network across India, with strong relationships in consumer, BFSI, government, defense, and FMCG sectors.
Creative Storytelling:
Champion branded content that blends Republic’s voice with client messaging through compelling storytelling and innovative formats.
Desired Profile
Experience:
6–14 years in Digital/CTV/OTT or Broadcast Ad Sales with strong client-facing exposure.
Leadership:
Proven experience in team management, talent development, and fostering a collaborative work culture.
Expertise:
Deep understanding of digital monetization, influencer marketing, social media PR, and emerging ad tech.
Strategic Thinking:
Ability to conceptualize sellable IPs, analyze platform behavior, and identify integrated revenue opportunities.
Market Insight:
Strong grasp of national and regional media trends, especially in high-growth digital states.
Skills:
Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities.
Cross-Functional Aptitude:
Comfortable operating at the intersection of content, sales, marketing, and innovation.
Qualifications
PGDM/MBA/PGPM preferred
Strong analytical and strategic mindset
Passion for digital media and content innovation
