Role Overview
We are seeking a Marketing & Digital Communications Manager who deeply understands Indian design aesthetics and can translate them into compelling, contemporary brand communication. This role requires both strategic thinking and hands-on execution—from ideation to on-ground content creation.
The ideal candidate is creative, agile, visually sensitive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced luxury brand environment.
Key Responsibilities
Brand & Communication Strategy
- Develop and execute marketing and digital communication strategies aligned with ICHKAN’s luxury positioning.
- Conceptualise fresh, original ideas for campaigns, launches, seasonal stories, and brand narratives.
- Ensure all communication reflects refined Indian aesthetics with global appeal.
- Content Creation & Execution
- Be hands-on with photography and video creation for quick, real-time communication across digital platforms.
- Shoot and create instant content (mobile and professional) for Instagram, website, WhatsApp broadcasts, and campaigns.
- Edit short-form videos, reels, and visual content for timely publishing.
Digital & Social Media
- Plan, manage, and execute content calendars across social platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, etc.).
- Oversee daily social communication, including posts, stories, reels, and campaign content.
- Track performance metrics and optimise content based on engagement and reach.
Campaigns & Collaborations
- Execute product launches, festive campaigns, influencer collaborations, and retail promotions.
- Coordinate with designers, photographers, stylists, influencers, and external partners when required.
- Support PR initiatives, events, exhibitions, and retail marketing activities.
Execution-First Mindset
- Take ownership of ideas—from concept to completion—without dependence on large teams.
- Work closely with the founders and internal teams to translate brand vision into communication swiftly and effectively.
Candidate Profile
Must-Have
- Strong understanding and appreciation of Indian design aesthetics, culture, and visual language.
- Proven experience in marketing, digital communication, or brand content (luxury, lifestyle, fashion, or home brands preferred).
- Hands-on experience in photography and video creation for social media.
- Comfort with shooting and creating instant content using mobile devices.
- Strong visual sensibility and storytelling ability.
Preferred
- Experience working with luxury, premium, or design-led brands.
- Familiarity with Instagram-first communication and short-form video content.
- Working knowledge of basic editing tools (Canva, CapCut, InShot, Adobe tools, etc.).
- Ability to work independently in a fast-moving entrepreneurial environment.
