Requirements
We are seeking a Digital Business Analyst to join our Technology & Digital Services function within Enabling Functions. This role will play a critical part in shaping and delivering innovative digital products by bridging business needs and technical delivery. The successful candidate will work closely with Product Owners, Engineering, Creative, IT, and Governance teams to define requirements, drive Agile delivery, and support continuous improvement across digital initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Agile Delivery & Product Support
Apply Agile / Lean Scrum methodologies to define and deliver digital solutions, including:
Creation of Epics, Features, and User Stories
Definition of clear, business-driven acceptance criteria
Collaborate with Product Owners to create, maintain, and prioritise the product backlog
Facilitate and manage backlog refinement sessions with engineering and delivery teams
Actively participate in Agile ceremonies including:
Iteration and Release Planning
Sprint Reviews
Retrospectives
Daily Stand-ups
Requirements & Stakeholder Management
Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Engineers, Creative teams, and business stakeholders to clarify requirements and deliver customer-centric digital solutions
Enable cross-functional collaboration across:
Product teams
GTOM (Go-To-Operating-Model) stakeholders
Internal IT and QRS teams during project delivery
Develop and maintain strong relationships with business sponsors, SMEs, and project stakeholders to support effective decision-making
Process Design & Documentation
Design and document end-to-end workflows and process maps for new products and features
Produce high-quality Business Requirements Documents (BRDs) aligned to SSDLC standards
Document GTOM compliance artefacts, including:
Support Models
DPIA (Data Protection Impact Assessments)
Maintain project RAID logs, identifying risks and recommending appropriate controls and mitigation actions
Business Enablement & Change Support
Create business cases, where required, to support new digital initiatives
Develop, review, and maintain:
Training materials
User guidance documentation
Knowledge Base articles
Support adoption and change management activities across digital solutions
Continuous Improvement & Culture
Promote a culture of continuous improvement , proactively identifying opportunities to enhance internal processes and ways of working
Demonstrate a clear understanding of how AI can be leveraged to support digital products and optimise team efficiency
Work effectively within diverse, inclusive teams, recognising contributions and supporting the development of junior colleagues
Act as a positive role model, contributing to a strong team culture and brand for the Digital Services function
Professional Experience & Skills
Essential
Proven experience working in a Business Analyst role , preferably within digital or technology-led environments
Strong stakeholder management skills, with the confidence and credibility to engage, influence, and challenge stakeholders at all levels
Solid understanding of Agile development practices , including:
Iteration and Release Planning
Backlog Refinement
Sprint Reviews and Retrospectives
Daily Stand-ups
Ability to understand, interpret, present, and challenge complex information across diverse audiences
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities under pressure
A proactive, positive “can-do” mindset with the ability to motivate and influence others
Demonstrated commitment to improving technical processes, methodologies, and ways of working
Strong collaboration skills with an open, flexible, and facilitative working style
Desirable
Experience or exposure to Design Thinking methodologies
Experience working within large, complex, or matrixed organisations
