Job Description
About the Role : We are seeking an accomplished technology leader to head the Digital Technology Delivery team at our India Global Capability Center (GCC). This individual will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of strategic digital solutions across platforms, driving innovation, enhancing customer experience, and partnering with business and global technology teams to execute digital transformation initiatives. Individual should be owning digital delivery and been in engineering digital delivery leadership roles for the last 5-7 years at least and has user experience, mobile programming, customer experience, digital (UI/UX) skills.
Responsibilities :
- Lead the digital delivery organization covering areas such as web applications, mobile apps, cloud platforms, APIs, customer portals, and agent tools.
- Responsible for delivery of digital programs, ensuring on-time, on-budget, and high quality outcomes.
- Drive engineering best practices, DevOps in agile delivery model.
- Partner closely with business, operations, and global IT stakeholders to align delivery roadmaps with strategic business goals.
- Promote digital innovation by bringing emerging technologies such as AI/ML, Low Code/No-Code, Intelligent Automation, and Cloud-native solutions.
- Manage a diverse team of software engineers, architects, scrum masters, product owners, and QA.
- Partner with vendors for flexible delivery capacity augmentation.
- Foster a culture of learning, collaboration, and high performance.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 20+ years of progressive experience in technology delivery, with at least 5 years leading digital technology initiatives using Java stack.
- Familiarity with retirement services or insurance domain is a strong plus.
- Experience with digital modernization programs (legacy-to-digital transition).
- Expertise in digital platforms (web/mobile), APIs/microservices, cloud development (AWS/Azure), and modern engineering practices.
- Proven track record in Agile (Scrum, SAFe) and DevOps transformation.
- Excellent stakeholder management, executive communication, and leadership skills.
- Strong experience managing large, distributed teams (onsite-offshore model).
