**Overview**



We are on the hunt for an analytical and strategic Digital Programmatic Manager to play a pivotal role in the crafting and execution of digital initiatives for our team. Working on our key client, ADOBE, you will be an integral member of the digital team, you will be expected to formulate media strategies and execution plans, and applying your digital expertise to develop tailored responses and channel strategies. Working closely with the Digital Director and Client Leads, as the manager you will be expected to be able to work independently, manage digital planners and executives in maintaining and improving quality (lead design, KPI setting, effectiveness simulation, budget allocation, etc.).



You will also be expected to build, maintain, and improve relationships with clients, along with the early recognition of issues and lead appropriate actions.



**Responsibilities**



**Strategy & Planning:**



+ Experience providing services to global clients e.g. digital strategy, plan development, and support for MARS



+ Deliver best in class media work through close communication with Global/Regional and local clients.



+ Lead general digital media planning work integrating all digital media, with a focus on Programmatic (Social, SEM, Programmatic, OLV, CTV etc) based on target analysis using various types of data



+ Keep abreast of digital trends, tools, technologies, and practices, particularly within the Japan market.



+ Ability to work independently to create, propose, and oversee the digital strategies and implementation media plans



+ Client facing/presentation (including documentation)



**Leadership & Team Management:**



+ Media pitch lead and support (plan creation, proposals, process management)



+ Leading the entire team as a manager to maintain and improve quality.



+ Help develop digital planning, and communication strategy development skills within your team



+ Lead close collaboration with external partners



**Campaign Management:**



+ Work closely with the campaign implementation team to ensure that campaigns are set up correctly, running properly and all taxonomy rules are followed



+ Support the management of accounts on platforms such as Meta, Google, Yahoo, as well as programmatic partners



**Optimization & Analysis:**



+ Monitor campaign performance, assisting in the optimization to hit KPIs and adhere to budgetary constraints.



+ Use analytics tools to help generate insights and actions from campaign data.



+ Support the modification of the digital strategies in response to campaign analytics and market trends.



**Collaboration & Reporting:**



+ Collaborate with the client, planning teams, data specialists, and global counterparts to ensure campaign success.



+ Help produce reports that track campaign performance, offering insights and strategic recommendations.



+ Participate in partner meetings to discuss performance, opportunities, and audits.



**Financial Management:**



+ Aid in managing and reporting on digital budget spend to ensure effectiveness and ROI.



+ Assist with financial processes to guarantee precise invoicing and budget management.



**Continuous Learning:**



+ Stay informed of industry trends related to your clients and its competitors.



+ Understand and apply the cultural and market-specific nuances of the Japan market to enhance campaign effectiveness.



**Qualifications**



+ A Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or related field, or equivalent experience.



+ At least 7 years of experience in digital planning, with at least 2 years’ experience managing people.



+ Familiarity with the digital advertising landscape, with a preference for those with knowledge of the Japan market.



+ Detailed understanding of key media platforms such as Meta, Twitter, TikTok, YT, and programmatic



+ Solid analytical skills, comfortable in analysing media reports to generate initial insights to performance.



+ Effective communication skills, both written and verbal



+ Fluency in Japanese, written and spoken is a must; English language skills would be highly beneficial
