Position Summary:
The Digital Sales Specialist is responsible for generating new business sales and driving profitability (P&L) within the assigned territory of Central and Western Canada, with a focus on basic to intermediate microscopy solutions. Operating primarily through a remote sales platform, the Digital Sales Specialist will leverage tools to engage with customers, deliver virtual product demonstrations, and build strong relationships across the territory. This role requires a commitment to achieving annual sales targets by developing a comprehensive sales plan, setting specific objectives, and providing monthly forecasts for orders and expected revenue. The Digital Sales Specialist must cultivate deep product knowledge of ZEISS’s basic to intermediate microscopy solutions and maintain awareness of market conditions to identify opportunities for growth.
