Digital Summer Assistant

Purpose:
This position provides a wide range of digital support and circulations services to the patrons in the Markham Library in person, by telephone and via library's on-line system.

Education:
Enrolled in an information technology, computer science, humanities, social sciences, or fine arts related program.

Experience:
- Some experience working with audio and video recording equipment and media editing software (including Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Audacity, and OpenShot) for the purposes of media creation and manipulation.- Experience working with spreadsheets and collaborative software environments such as Microsoft Teams, Google Drive, Google Calendar and Dropbox.- Some experience providing customer services to the public is preferrable.
