Dir Development Program Management

The Director, Development Program Managementusesextensive program management knowledge and experience in the drug development industrytoprovide operational leadership,direction,and support toassigneddevelopmentprogram(s)and/or portfolio(s). This individual is expected todrivethe cross functionaldevelopmentteam(Strategic Program Team)to developstrategic plansincluding goals, budgets, timelinesandmonitortheexecution of these plansfrom preclinical through commercialization/lifecycle management. Responsibilitiesmayalso includecoaching and mentorship of junior colleagues,managing direct reports,working withcollaborators, and contributing to departmentalinitiatives. This is aleadership role within the department and organizationthusthis individualis expected toindependentlyexecute responsibilities,interact effectively with senior leadership, andinfluencethe directionand outcomesof assignments.
