Direct Hire Sales Manager (Industrial Search)

The Search Consultant Manager leads a team of full cycle direct hire recruiters that focuses on supporting the direct hire needs of the branch network and their clients. The Manager is responsible for developing and implementing recruiting processes and strategies with the goal of generating direct hire fees through sourcing, screening, interviewing, and presenting candidates to client companies for direct hire positions. This role sets activity and production guidelines according to pre-determined goals. The Search Consultant Manager is a producing manager generating direct hire fees through 360 marketing, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and presenting candidates to client companies for direct hire positions.
Your Role & Responsibilities
Source, Recruit and Interview Candidates:
• Evaluates job posting on various websites to ensure accuracy and brand consistency.
• Leads client intake calls to discover client needs and discuss process.
• Creates recommendations for recruiting strategy and process improvements.
• Develop, approve, and implement recruiting plan to source top talent in market.
• Screen and interview candidates for direct-hire placement at client operations.
• Conduct thorough reference checks on all candidates.
• Manage consistent flow of candidates to ensure minimum production standards are being met and/or exceeded.
• Refer qualified candidates to clients for position openings.
• Document and maintain all candidate and client information in system.
• Work directly with Hire recruiters to establish individual activity and result expectations
Business Development
• Develop and implement plan to generate new business opportunities in which to market and place candidates in direct hire positions.
• Negotiate terms and conditions based on standard operating practices.
• Monitor individual client expectations and implement appropriate service levels to meet and exceed clients’ needs.
• Cross sells divisions to ensure account penetration by all business lines.
• Partner with Presidents, BDM, and Market Grow Partners in developing and penetrating existing and new accounts for direct hire opportunities.
• Participate in regional calls to discuss market trends and direct hire strategies.
• Establish a daily and weekly business development schedule to reach individual production dollar objectives.
• Work directly with direct hire recruiters to establish individual activity and production standards monthly, quarterly, and annually.
Maintain Compliance with all Legal and Company Standards:
• Serve as the escalation point for any client or candidate issues with the recruiting process, billing, contracts, or internal discussion.
• Send resumes to clients after reviewing that submitted resumes meet company and position guidelines.
• Schedule Candidate interviews and ensure all parties have the specific details.
• Follow up timely with clients on all submitted resumes and interviews, as well as regular follow up communications to increase sales.
• Ensure all confidential information is maintained for client, candidate, and Employbridge.
Client Retention and Evaluation:
• Present viable candidates to clients for placement consideration.
• Prepare and debrief both the candidate and client throughout the interview process.
• Partners with field branches to assist in new business generation by sharing client leads.
• Leads negotiations on all placement fees/guarantees with client and partners with the client and candidate.
• Document all information regarding candidates and client companies into company systems.
• Invoice, coordinate and monitor the direct hire placement through its guarantee period and collection of payment.
Preferred Education & Experience
• Bachelor's Degree or 2-4 years of business experience in related field
Competencies (Skills & Knowledge You’ll Bring)
• Supervisory experience and the ability to manage team members at various site locations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to make sound business decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Possess strong negotiation skills and telephone sales skills.
• Ability to develop strong interpersonal relationships and appropriate rapport with all levels within client organizations, candidates, and internal colleagues and management.
• Familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the staffing industry with retail staffing experience preferred.
• Able to prioritize tasks to meet individual and business goal.
• Proven track record is required.
• Ability to work independently and the ability to work remote.
• Experience using various technology platforms to drive effective decisions.
