Directional Drilling & MWD Engineers

NES Fircroft is partnering with leading drilling contractors and oilfield service providers to support upcoming onshore drilling programs across Australia. We are seeking experienced Directional Drilling (DDx) and MWD Engineers to register interest for contract and longer‑term opportunities commencing throughout 2026.

These roles will support land‑based drilling campaigns across conventional and unconventional developments.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver directional drilling and MWD services on onshore drilling rigs
• Operate Rotary Steerable Systems (RSS), motors, and directional assemblies in real time
• Build, run, and optimise complex directional BHAs to achieve well objectives
• Operate MWD and LWD tools in real time, including telemetry systems
• Provide formation evaluation support using LWD tools and data interpretation
