Established in 2008, the Disaster and Development Organization (DADO) is an independent, non-profit organization that specializes in policy analysis, action research, and project implementation for disaster risk reduction, climate change adaptation, public health, business continuity management, and sustainable development at local, national, regional, and global levels. DADO's work encompasses the interdisciplinary field of sustainability science, focusing on the intricate interplay between environmental preservation, societal well-being, and economic equilibrium. We have developed a unique expertise in understanding how disasters can reverse development achievements, while sustainable development can, in turn, minimize disaster risks and impacts.
