Description

The University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) seeks a Director of Communications for the Office of the Provost. This position requires collaboration to support the fast-paced, high-trust, and highly visible work of the provost and academic leadership. The Director will lead the development, preparation, and execution of communications that advance the provost's priorities and elevate academic initiatives across the university. Responsibilities include drafting and refining executive communications, remarks, messaging frameworks, and briefing materials, and coordinating closely with University Marketing and Communications, communicators across the academic enterprise, and other divisions of the university as appropriate.
