Job Description:

Position Title: Director – Digital Analytics

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Define the long-term analytics strategy and roadmap for digital experiences, shopper behavior, experimentation, and self-service BI.
  • Connect analytics priorities to enterprise goals, ensuring alignment with product, engineering, marketing, and customer experience strategies.
  • Advocate for behavioral insights, experimentation, and data-driven decision-making at the executive level.
  • Anticipate future analytical needs, technology trends, and data capabilities; lead transformation initiatives to elevate analytics maturity.
  • Create and maintain a team structure that aligns with business strategy and evolving digital priorities.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous learning.
  • Attract and retain top analytics talent in a high-growth, global environment.
  • Partner with data engineering, machine learning, and platform teams to define scalable data architecture, measurement frameworks, and analytical tooling. · Champion a culture of experimentation across teams—driving A/B testing, multivariate testing, and cohort analysis—and partner closely with ML teams to refine experimentation methodologies, evaluate model performance, and implement corrective feature adjustments that maximize customer and business impact.
  • Drive enterprise-wide adoption of modern analytics capabilities including advanced BI, experimentation platforms, and behavioral analytics tools (e.g., Adobe, Amplitude).
  • Identify unmet data and capability needs and ensure timely resolution through cross-functional collaboration.
  • Lead analytics efforts that influence digital product strategy and shopper experience, including funnel performance, personalization, content effectiveness, and friction detection.
  • Ensure delivery of high-quality insights, dashboards, experimentation results, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Establish enterprise KPI frameworks, success metrics, and unified measurement standards across digital channels.
  • Drive adoption of test-and-learn methodologies and promote a culture of measurable, evidence-based decision-making.
  • Communicate complex analytical outcomes in a clear, succinct, and strategic manner to executive audiences.
  • Build strong partnerships across product, UX, engineering, operations, marketing, and data science.
  • Shape experience strategy by connecting behavioral analytics to customer outcomes and business opportunities.
  • Represent analytics in senior forums, influencing decisions with data storytelling and strategic insight.


Experience Required:

  • 15+ years of experience in digital analytics, product analytics, customer insights, or data strategy, ideally in e-commerce, retail, grocery, or large-scale consumer digital products.
  • Proven experience leading multiple analytics functions at scale.
  • Track record of defining analytics strategy, driving transformation, and partnering with engineering on scalable data architecture.
  • Deep experience with digital measurement tools (e.g., Adobe, Google Analytics), BI platforms, experimentation frameworks, and behavioral analytics. · Expert-level proficiency in SQL and familiarity with Python/R.
  • Strong executive communication skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and translate analytics into strategic outcomes.
  • Experience establishing enterprise KPIs, success metrics, and measurement standards.
