Role Overview

QKS Group is seeking a senior procurement technology leader to build and lead its Digital Procurement & Source-to-Pay (S2P) research and advisory practice.

This role is not for traditional procurement or sourcing professionals. We are explicitly looking for leaders with hands-on ownership of procurement platforms, applications, integrations, and digital transformation initiatives, someone who understands procurement as an enterprise technology domain, not a process function.

The role involves market analysis, technology evaluation, vendor briefings, and CXO-level advisory, shaping how enterprises and vendors think about procurement technology adoption.

Key Responsibilities

Practice & Research Leadership

• Lead QKS’s coverage of Digital Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, Source-to-Pay (S2P), Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Supplier Management, and adjacent CPQ technologies
• Define technology evaluation frameworks, benchmarks, and SPARK Matrix criteria
• Track innovation across AI-driven sourcing, spend analytics, supplier risk, automation, and platform ecosystems

Market & Vendor Engagement

• Conduct deep-dive briefings with procurement technology vendors, platform providers, and ecosystem partners
• Evaluate vendor architecture, roadmap, integrations, scalability, and enterprise readiness
• Advise vendors on product positioning, differentiation, and go-to-market strategy

Enterprise Advisory

• Engage with CPOs, CIOs, CFOs, and Digital Transformation leaders from end-user organizations
• Provide technology-led guidance on:
• Platform selection and modernization
• ERP and finance system integrations
• Global rollout challenges and architectural trade-offs
• Translate enterprise pain points into clear, market-relevant insights

Thought Leadership

Author and contribute to:

• SPARK Matrix reports
• Buyer guides and solution evaluations
• Executive briefs and market perspectives
• Represent QKS Group in CXO roundtables, webinars, and private advisory sessions

Ideal Candidate Profile

Required Experience

• 15-20+ years of experience with strong ownership of procurement technology initiatives
• Direct exposure to S2P / P2P platforms, such as:
• Strategic sourcing
• Contract lifecycle management
• Supplier management
• Invoicing, payments, and compliance
• Experience working closely with ERP platforms (SAP, Oracle, Workday, etc.)

Strongly Preferred Backgrounds

• Digital Procurement Director / Procurement Transformation Director (technology-led)
• Head / Director of Procurement Systems or Platforms
• Enterprise Applications leader covering Finance & Procurement
• Product or solutions leadership roles within procurement SaaS vendors

Skills & Capabilities

• Deep understanding of procurement application architecture and integrations
• Ability to evaluate platform scalability, data models, APIs, and ecosystem maturity
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to compare vendors objectively
• Executive-level communication skills, comfortable advising CXOs
• Ability to operate independently and build market credibility
