The Role

KU Kintaiba are looking for an experienced, motivated, and passionate early childhood teacher to lead our team. We need a mentor, who is thrives on continuous improvement, innovative pedagogy and reflective practice.

This is a permanent, full time position working 8 hours per day, Monday-Friday. You will receive a generous director's allowance and accrue a paid monthly rostered day off each and every month!

The Service 

KU Kintaiba is a 59-place Long Day Care service nestled among the tranquil bushland of the University of Newcastle campus. Our architectural facility features four rooms dedicated to providing high-quality education and care for children up to 5 years old. We operate from Monday to Friday, 7:30 am to 6:00 pm, offering a supportive environment where both children and educators thrive.
