We are looking for a visionary and experienced leader to advance the mission of our College and the Kansas State Research and Extension (KSRE). Your focus will be on delivering exceptional teaching, innovative research, and engaging community outreach. A dynamic individual with a strong history of successful growth initiatives and partnership building will thrive in this role. As the Director, you will lead all academic programs, promoting a collaborative leadership approach while driving the development of our multifaceted programs. You will oversee the strategic direction of the Kansas Cooperative Extension Service and the Agricultural Experiment Station, and will also spearhead fundraising initiatives and strengthen relationships with community stakeholders, alumni, legislators, and industry professionals. Ideal candidates will possess an earned doctorate in a relevant field and demonstrate a strong record of academic achievement. Essential qualifications include a proven ability to implement a strategic vision, excellent collaboration and communication skills, and a successful track record in fund development. A deep understanding of the land-grant mission and a commitment to educational access and opportunities is critical. Preferred qualifications include experience with interdisciplinary and international programs, a history of building partnerships, and familiarity with the opportunities within a land-grant university with R1 status.
