Industry Pharmaceuticals Type Privately Held About the Role We are excited to announce an opportunity for a Director of Clinical Development to take the lead in designing and implementing clinical trials across our pioneering programs. The successful candidate will serve as the Clinical Development Lead for one or more clinical initiatives, playing a crucial role in crafting strategies to identify, monitor, and mitigate potential issues and risks at the program level. This leadership position is essential for ensuring timely communication of critical information across various functions and contributing to the design of clinical trials and protocols tailored to meet our clinical development objectives. The Director will also oversee medical monitoring, contribute to regulatory documentation, and lead a cross-functional development subteam. We seek an applicant with a robust background in clinical development, specifically with experience in spearheading and executing clinical trials. The ability to collaborate effectively with both internal teams and external stakeholders is vital. Additionally, the candidate should have a solid foundation in providing scientific and medical insights for regulatory documents while ensuring adherence to compliance standards. The ideal applicant will demonstrate expertise in formulating strategies for Advisory Boards, forging relationships with key opinion leaders and patient advocacy groups, and keeping abreast of scientific knowledge in relevant therapeutic areas. This role may also involve mentoring and guiding clinical scientists, medical monitors, and study clinical leads, with a possibility of direct line reporting responsibilities.
