**Position Summary**
The Director of Finance is a strategic business partner responsible for overseeing all financial operations of the hotel, ensuring financial integrity, compliance, profitability, and long-term financial sustainability. This role plays a key leadership position within the Leadership Committee and supports the General Manager in driving the hotel’s overall business performance.
**Key Responsibilities**
+ Lead and manage all finance and accounting functions, including annual budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and cash flow management.
+ Ensure full compliance with Hyatt finance standards and practices, USALI System of Accounting, local regulations, tax laws, and internal controls.
+ Provide strategic financial analysis and insights to support decision-making and maximize profitability.
+ Oversee cost control, expense management, and revenue optimization initiatives across all departments.
+ Manage audits, statutory reporting, and liaison with internal and external auditors and regulatory bodies.
+ Lead, mentor, and develop the Finance team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement with Hyatt’s overarching purpose of Caring for People So They Can Be Their Best.
+ Collaborate closely with department heads to align financial objectives with operational goals.
+ Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in line with Hyatt reporting requirements and deadlines.
**Qualifications & Experience**
+ Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
+ Minimum of 8–10 years of progressive finance experience, with at least 3–5 years in a Director of Finance role within luxury hotels or large hospitality operations.
+ Strong knowledge of hotel finance, budgeting, forecasting, and financial controls.
+ Proven leadership skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
+ Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
+ Experience working with international hotel brands (Hyatt experience is an advantage).
Proficiency in financial systems and Microsoft Office applications
