**Description:**
Park Hyatt Milan is seeking an experienced and dynamic **Director of Operations** to lead hotel operations and ensure the highest standards of service excellence, financial performance, and guest satisfaction.
Reporting directly to the **General Manager** , the Director of Operations oversees all key operational areas, including the **Rooms Division, Food & Beverage, and Spa** . The role plays a critical part in driving strategic initiatives, operational efficiency, and team engagement, and acts as the General Manager’s deputy when required.
**Key Responsibilities**
+ Lead and coordinate the daily operations of Rooms, Food & Beverage, Spa, and back-of-house areas
+ Ensure exceptional standards of service, quality, hygiene, and safety throughout the hotel
+ Collaborate closely with Department Heads to implement operational strategies and objectives
+ Contribute to the hotel’s strategic and business planning and define annual revenue targets
+ Oversee budgeting, cost control, payroll management, and productivity improvement initiatives
+ Identify and develop opportunities to drive revenue growth and operational performance
+ Monitor guest satisfaction and implement continuous improvement actions
+ Support recruitment, performance management, training, and talent development activities
+ Foster a positive, inclusive, and results-driven workplace culture
+ Ensure full compliance with company policies, brand standards, and legal requirements
**Qualifications:**
+ Proven experience in a **senior operational leadership role** (Director of Operations or equivalent) within luxury hospitality
+ Strong expertise in both Rooms and Food & Beverage operations
+ Demonstrated leadership skills with a hands-on, strategic mindset
+ Solid financial acumen and experience managing budgets and KPIs
+ Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
+ Strong problem-solving ability and commitment to continuous improvement
+ Fluency in English is required; knowledge of Italian is an advantage
