Director of Residential Care Services About the Company Prestigious provider of senior living services Industry Hospitality Type Privately Held About the Role We are seeking a dedicated Director of Residential Care Services to lead our residential care facilities. This pivotal role involves overseeing daily operations to ensure exceptional care and service for our elderly residents. You will manage a team of professionals, ensure compliance with all regulatory standards, and create a safe, nurturing environment for residents. In this position, you will also engage in budgeting, financial oversight, and strategic planning aimed at improving residents' quality of life and the overall success of our community. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of two years of college education and at least three years of experience in elderly residential care or equivalent education and experience as acknowledged by the Department of Social Services. A valid California Residential Care Facility for the Elderly Certification or a Licensed Nursing Home Executive Director certification is required. We are looking for someone with a strong background in staff management, proficiency in MS Office, and insight into assisted living and dementia care practices. The successful candidate will be compassionate, skilled in working with seniors—including those with cognitive impairments—and must excel in problem-solving, decision-making, and communication. A Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests are mandatory, and adherence to COVID-19 safety protocols may be required.
