Job Purpose
The purpose of the AVP-L&D position is to lead and oversee the Learning and Development function within the organization, driving the design and implementation of training programs to enhance employee development and achieve organizational goals. With 15-20 years of experience at the Functional head/Department head/AVP level, the AVP-L&D will establish best practices, foster a culture of continuous learning, and support talent development initiatives across the organization.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Collaboration with India and Global leadership on developing the strategies for fostering and embedding high performance and continuous learning culture.
- Conduct assessments and analyses of organizational culture, structure, and processes to identify areas for improvement.
- Conducting and organizing Training Needs Analysis using both structured and informal methods.
- Conceptualizing innovative and flexible methods to address the developmental and Capability-building needs.
- Collaborate to identify and develop high-potential employees.
- Design succession planning programs and strategies to derisk talent management for key roles.
- Refining existing systems and processes, and setting up new processes as required.
- Drawing up and project managing comprehensive Talent Development & Organization Development Plan to augment the personal and professional development of our colleagues.
- Providing thought leadership around program design and delivery.
- Lead initiatives to enhance organizational effectiveness and efficiency.
- Lead projects focused on aligning learning and development solutions with aligning with the business priorities of the practice.
- Aligning project teams and stakeholders to implement highly effective and innovative L&D solutions, including digitized content, individualized learning paths, and development in the flow of work.
Requirements
- Graduate or Global Equivalent Degree. Preferably an MBA.
- Certificate or Diploma Course in OD Experience.
- 10+ yearsβ progressive experience in Talent Management & Organizational Development/Psychology.
- Creative and curious with a solutions-based approach.
- Strong organizational skills with ability to work in a complex/matrix business environment.
- Self-motivated and an ability to work autonomously.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Maintain courteous, professional, and effective working relationships with employees at all levels of the organization.
- Self-starter with the ability to work in a fast-paced, global team.
