Position Summary
The Director of Product Management is a senior leadership role focused on establishing enterprise-wide product management standards, aligning product roadmaps across all departments, and ensuring that product strategies support the organization’s overarching objectives. This role partners closely with executives to define the product vision and lead enterprise priorities, serving as a central point of alignment for all product teams.
Compensation
This role is an exempt position with a Targeted Salary Range of $150,000 - $180,000 annually.
Compensation at Guild is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to local and federal minimum wage requirements, education, level of experience, and applicant’s geographical location.
Essential Functions
Build executive sponsorship and cross-functional buy-in for a product-first approach.
Develop and implement standardized frameworks, processes, and best practices for product management across all departments.
Collaborate closely with product teams to align product roadmaps with the organization’s strategic objectives and enterprise priorities.
Drive cross-functional alignment between product teams and corporate strategy.
Implement tools and processes for product planning, prioritization, and performance tracking.
Ensure data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement across the product portfolio.
Monitor adherence to standards and provide guidance to departmental product managers.
Design career paths, training programs, and performance metrics for product management roles.
Partner with Engineering, Design, Marketing, Sales, and Operations to ensure cohesive execution.
Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability.
Qualifications
Supervision
Complexity: Problems are often complex and specialized and may involve unprecedented circumstances; resolution requires investigation, analysis and review of professional/organizational standards
Impact: Decisions and actions have a major impact on the strategic and operational outcomes of the area/unit; Has a direct and significant impact on the business and/or operations of the organization as a whole
Interaction/Supervision: Manages staff performance, workflow, and schedules; coaches and disciplines; may contribute to hiring, termination, and pay decisions; plans and participates in staff training; interfaces with internal and external customers and/or internal support functions
Requirements
Physical: Work is primarily sedentary; mobility in an office setting.
Manual Dexterity: Ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards
Audio/Visual: Regularly required to accurately perceive, distinguish and interpret information received visually and through audio, e.g., words, numbers and other data broadcasted aloud/viewed on a screen, as well as print and other media.
Environmental: Office environment – moderate noise, no substantial exposure to adverse environmental conditions.
Travel: 5% or less
Mental: This role requires effective adaptation to workplace stressors, including customer service complaints, security responsibilities, and competing priorities.
Schedules: Work is primarily performed during the business week, Monday - Friday.
