The Director, R&D Cost Forecasting, is a key leadership role within Alexion Global Portfolio and Program Management (GPPM) responsible for external cost forecasting in partnership with Alexion R&D functions and Finance.This Subject Matter Expert (SME) will be responsible forestablishingthe capability to accurately model and forecast external costs for R&D programs, inclusive of developing cost algorithms, analyzing historical and operational data to improve model accuracy, and tracking actual costs vs. forecast to understand variances
Responsibilities:
Lead the creation, documentation, and maintenanceof algorithms to translate program schedules into cost over time.
Generate costs forecasts and partner with program managers to validate ahead of key governance and business cycle reviews.
