Director, Reactor Build Center

Diamond Foundry has launched a $2.8B semiconductor fab project in Spain, for which our advanced reactor technology will be built and supplied by our Reactor Build Center located in Zaragoza. We're looking for a Director to run the operation. Availability to travel to the US (Washington, California), and Trujillo, Spain, for about 3 to 6 months

Responsibilities

Lead and develop a high-performing team while establishing the new Reactor Build Center in a newly constructed facility, ensuring all tools, infrastructure, and processes are put in place.

Oversee daily operations of reactor assembly, integration, and testing, driving efficiency, quality, and safety through optimized workflows and continuous improvement.

Partner closely with engineering teams in Spain, the EU, and the U.S. to support prototype builds, production changes, and equipment installations.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field with 8+ years of experience in industrial machinery, semiconductor equipment, or high-tech equipment assembly environments and 3+ years of people-management experience in production, assembly, or technical operations.

Hands-on experience with complex mechanical and electrical systems. Exposure to vacuum systems, CVD/PVD equipment, automation, or precision mechanical assemblies is preferred.

Fluent in Spanish and English (written and spoken) is a must.

Strong organizational and leadership capabilities with demonstrated experience scaling teams and processes.
