Finance Data Factory is a cornerstone of Walmart’s financial data infrastructure, responsible for building and maintaining True North datasets that are trusted, authoritative data assets that serve as the single source of truth across the enterprise. These foundational datasets are meticulously engineered to ensure consistency, accuracy, and reliability, and are consumed by a wide array of downstream applications that support critical business operations, financial systems, and executive decision-making.
Our team plays a strategic role in enabling data-driven transformation across Finance by:
+ Standardizing financial data across segments and systems to eliminate ambiguity and drive alignment.
+ Powering automation and analytics for applications ranging from transactional processing to predictive modeling.
