**Job Description Summary**

You will lead a team of passionate and high-performing QA professionals, ensuring world-class quality standards for our next-generation desktop, web, and cloud applications. As the Product QA Head, you will define and drive the organization’s quality vision, build scalable QA strategies, and ensure seamless delivery of reliable, high-performing products. You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams across development, DevOps, and product management to embed quality across the SDLC.

**Key Responsibilities:**



+ Define and own the Quality Strategy and Roadmap for all products (desktop, web, and cloud).

+ Oversee all QA activities: test planning, automation, performance, security, and regression testing.

+ Build and manage a team of QA Managers/Leads, automation engineers, and domain testers.

+ Establish automation frameworks using modern tools (e.g., Selenium, WebIO, Playwright, Postman, JMeter).

+ Ensure alignment of QA processes with Agile and DevOps methodologies.

+ Collaborate with development leads to establish quality gates, CI/CD integrations, and shift-left testing.

+ Drive defect prevention through root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.

+ Manage release readiness, test environments, and sign-off processes.

+ Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and excellence within QA teams.

+ Track and report key QA metrics such as test coverage, defect density, and release quality.

+ Engage with clients and internal stakeholders to ensure quality expectations are met and exceeded.



**Customer Focus:**



+ Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external customers to ensure quality is a shared priority.

+ Translate customer issues into actionable quality improvements.

+ Proactively communicate release readiness, known issues, and test outcomes.

+ Participate in project and client calls to align quality delivery with customer expectations.



**What We’re Looking For:**



+ Minimum of **14+ years of experience** in software quality assurance, with **at least 7+ years in leadership** roles managing large QA teams.

+ Proven experience in **QA strategy, test automation, performance testing, and quality governance** .

+ Strong understanding of **SDLC, STLC, Agile, DevOps** , and CI/CD pipelines.

+ Hands-on experience with automation and testing tools such as **Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, JMeter, Postman** , and CI tools (e.g., Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions).

+ Deep knowledge of **cloud platforms** (AWS/Azure), **API testing** , and **microservices validation** .

+ Familiarity with **databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MongoDB)** and backend testing practices.

+ Experience managing **distributed QA teams** and collaborating across geographies.

+ Exposure to **security and compliance testing** is a plus.

+ Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.



**Basic Qualifications:**



+ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

+ Strong foundation in test management, automation frameworks, and performance testing.

+ Demonstrated success in leading QA for complex enterprise products or platforms.

+ High energy, strategic mindset, and ability to deliver results in a fast-paced environment.

+ Experience with quality tools and frameworks: TestNG, PyTest, JUnit, Cucumber, or equivalent.

+ Prior experience in financial, SaaS, or data-intensive domains is preferred.



**Management Requirements:**



+ Proven ability to lead and mentor large QA organizations (30+ members).

+ Strong planning, execution, and stakeholder management skills.

+ Ability to balance hands-on technical oversight with strategic leadership.

+ Effective communication across all organizational levels.
