Role Summary

Senior Directus CMS Developer responsible for designing, building, and scaling API-driven headless CMS solutions. The role includes content modeling, integrations, migrations from legacy CMS platforms, and ensuring enterprise-grade performance, security, and scalability.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and manage content models, relations, workflows, and permissions in Directus
• Develop and optimize REST & GraphQL APIs for multi-channel delivery
• Build custom extensions, hooks, flows, and endpoints in Directus
• Lead CMS migrations (WordPress/AEM → Directus) with automation and validation
• Implement pixel-to-pixel content validation and migration testing
• Integrate Directus with modern frontends (Next.js, React, Vue)
• Configure RBAC, security, and access controls
• Ensure performance, scalability, and maintainability
• Collaborate with architects, QA, DevOps, and business teams

Technical Skills

Must Have

• Directus CMS (Cloud or Self-Hosted)
• JavaScript / TypeScript, Node.js
• REST & GraphQL APIs
• SQL databases (PostgreSQL / MySQL)
• Headless CMS architecture

Good to Have

• CMS migration experience (WordPress, AEM, Contentful)
• Other Headless CMS experience
• CI/CD, Docker, Cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP)
• OAuth2, JWT, SSO

Soft Skills

• Strong communication and stakeholder management
• Problem-solving and ownership mindset
• Ability to mentor junior developers
