The Program

Taproot Community Support Services (formerly WJS Canada) works to improve the lives of persons in their communities through a variety of programs and services.
This Supportive Independent Living program in Edmonton, AB, encourages persons with developmental disabilities to maximize their independence, further develop their unique strengths and enjoy community integration through social, recreational and community activities.
The program works with one female person served in our Semi-Independent Living Program. This individual has complex mental health needs, including a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder, Person with Developmental Disabilities, Borderline Personality Disorder and Addiction/Substance use disorder
