About the role
Provide personalised coaching and mentoring to a team of Disability Support Workers, focusing on skill development and best practices, while overseeing the operations of 2 Supported Independent Living (SIL) homes within Broken Hill. The role involves a 6-week rotation on-call component as well as occasional travel and shift work.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate high-volume 24/7 service operations
- Provide proactive leadership to a team of 19 Disability Support Workers
- Foster a culture of resilience and adaptability
- Effectively manage crisis situations and complex behavioural incidents
- Strong understanding of positive behaviour support and restrictive practices
