About the Role:
As a Support Worker, you will provide person‑centred support to individuals that require in‑home support services within the areas of Yeppoon, Gracemere and Rockhampton. Reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance is essential for this role. You will work with a client based in Yeppoon requiring in‑home support every morning. Your role is integral to helping clients achieve their NDIS goals and live fulfilling, independent lives.
Casual hours with a variety of shifts, including morning, afternoons and weekends.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting with daily living activities such as personal care, domestic tasks, and meal preparation.
- Supporting skill development in areas such as budgeting, social interaction, and self‑care.
- Facilitating community participation through social outings and taking clients to appointments.
- Promoting and maintaining strong relationships with family, friends, and service providers.
- Delivering compassionate, respectful, and tailored support aligned with individual needs.

- A genuine passion for supporting people with disability.
- The ability to work autonomously and within a team environment.
- Physical capacity to perform manual handling tasks.
- A strong commitment to confidentiality and respectful care.
- Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) – highly regarded.
- Experience supporting individuals with complex behaviours or dementia – desirable but not essential.
Pre‑Employment Requirements: Hold or be willing to obtain
- National Criminal History Check (Fit2Work)
- Working with Children Check (Blue Card)
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (Yellow Card)
- Current First Aid and CPR certification
- Australian Drivers Licence with Car Insurance
