Position Summary

Under the direction of the Executive Chef and supervision of our Culinary Management team, Steward is responsible for ensuring the cleanliness of all kitchen areas, culinary equipment and utensils including all dishes, glasses and pots/pans. This role must contribute to a safe and welcoming work environment for all employees while providing support to our food and beverage team. Above all else, must embrace and be aligned with Casino New Brunswick’s culture and philosophy of providing outstanding entertainment experiences.


Key Accountabilities

  • Organize, rinse, spray and load dishes/cutlery into dishwasher or wash by hand as required;
  • Check completed load for cleanliness and re-wash dishes if necessary;
  • Report any equipment malfunctions, breakages and discrepancies to the supervisor immediately;
  • Store all clean dishes and kitchenware in the appropriate area;
